Protein Bagel Sandwich With Egg & Mushrooms

Ingredients:

Great Low Carb Bread Co. Protein Bagels - 1pc
• Liquid Egg Whites - 92g
• Green Chilli - 1
• Mushrooms or Spinach - 1 cup
• Seasoning (Lite salt,Black pepper,Red chilli powder)
• Olive Oil - 1tsp.

Preparation:

  1. To prepare this sandwich you need this Great Low Carb Bread Co. Protein Bagels. I was able to find this online only. This bagels has only 2g of net carbs and 14g protein, so we just need to add 6~7g of additional protein to make complete meal.
  2. Take a bagel from freezer and let it thaw or defrost in microwave. Now lets make a mushroom egg patty, for that, cut 1 cup of mushrooms about 1/4 inch cubes and place in microwavable ceramic bowl and top it with minced green chilli. Now weigh 92g of liquid egg whites and pour in ceramic bowl on top of mushrooms. (Note: If you don't like Mushrooms then you can replace with Spinach).
  3. Now sprinkle black pepper, chilli powder and lite salt. Do not mix seasonings(it taste better). Now microwave ceramic bowl for 1 to 1.5 min and poke with knife and microwave again for 1 min to make mushroom egg patty.
  4. Slice bagel into half as shown below and toast it then apply 1/2 tsp olive oil each side. Now place the mushroom egg patty and close with bagel slice.
  5. Here is Ideal Protein friedly Protein Bagel Sandwich is ready!! To make complete meal, you need take one more cup of vegetables.
