Preparation:

  1. This recipe is for 2 servings. Get ready with all ingredients listed above, here we are using Vital Wheat Gluten Flour, Unflavored Soy Protein Isolate, Flax flour (Or you can use Oat fiber). Weigh them all dry ingredients as shown below.
  2. Add dry ingredients together in mixing bowl and add 1/4 tsp of lite salt, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder and mix all dry ingredients well. Now Add ground chillies & ginger paster and finely chopped leaves (methi, cilantro, curry leaves).
  3. Now add 1/2 cup of grated/shredded sorakaya(dudhi) and mix toghter. Now add little water and make like chapathi dough. CAUTION : Once dough is ready do not wait, because of gluten it will be very sticky and it become VERY HARD to handle.
  4. Place a chapati pan on stove with medium heat and spread 1 tsp of oil. Now place dough ball on center of the pan and make round roti by pressing and adjusting by hand (do it as quickly as possible, if you take time then it is very diffuct to make roti), once done then make few holes with nail and then place a lid & cook both sides by flipping between.
  5. Here is Protein Sorakaya Rotte is ready!!. Remember this is for 2 servings so you can only have half portion for any meal for protein portion.
