Protein Pasta with Alfredo-Presto and Veggies

When we are doing low-carb & high protein/IP diet, we are not allowed to eat regular pasta becuase of high carbs in pasta. But we can eat this protein pasta which as only 3g carbs per serving. It is relatively simple to make and complete meal for lunch/dinner. See here how we can make this recipe.

ProtiWise Protein Pasta - 1 pkt
• Vegetables (Broccoli, Mushroom, Snow pea) - 1 cup
• Presto prepared with 1 cup Basil (see recipe)
Walden Farms All Zero Alfredo Pasta Sauce
• Lite Salt (to the taste)
• Olive/Grape Seed Oil - 1/2 tsp .

  1. Take 1 pkt protiwise protein pasta and boil as per instructions on box. Use 1 cup of vegetables of your choice and another cup vegetable comes from presto. i.e prepare pesto with 1 cup of basil leaves. Here is recipe for preparing basil presto. You can make this presto in advance and keep in refrigerator also. We will be using Walden Farms All Zero Alfredo Pasta Sauce in this recipe to avoid extra calories & carbs. Also use 1 cup of water and microwave for 2 min and then put broccoli in it and keep aside.
  2. Place a small wok on stove with high heat and add 1/2 tsp of oil (remember you are using another 1 tsp in basil presto recipe). Once oil heated add mushrooms, hot water treated broccoli and snow pea. Stir all veggies and make a little round space in work and add basil presto and cook for 1 min.
  3. Once presto cooked with veggies, add boiled protein pasta, lite salt (to the taste) and stir together there is black pepper in basil presto, but if you need more spicy then you can add some red chilli flakes. Now add Walden Farms All Zero Alfredo Pasta Sauce as needed and let it cook for 1-2 min and stir all together then transfer to serving plate.
