Spicy French Fries (Low Carb Diet Friendly)

You all might know french fries are made from potato, but Ideal Protein restrict all type of potatos. But there is similar replacement vegetable root called 'Celeriac', IP allows to eat this Celeriac root. You can't compare to potato taste but still taste good. • Celeriac Root - 3 Medium Size
• Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
• Jeera / Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
• Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
• Lite Salt - 1/2tsp
• Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
• Olive/Grape Seed Oil - 1 tsp.

  1. You can find these Celeriac Roots in most Asian Grocery Stores and also Sprouts, WholeFoods etc., Take 3 Medium to Large Ceriac Roots and wash well and peel them. Once peeled slice them like french fries(as shown in below), Once sliced these turns about 4 cups (Good for 2 Servings).
  2. Now add all ingredients mentioned above i.e 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Jeera/Cumin Powder,1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Chilli Powder,1 tsp Olive/Grape Seed Oil.
  3. Mix all ingredients together until coats well to all fries. Then spread them on Baking Sheet.
  4. Pre-Heat oven at 400F and bake these for 20 min(appx). Turn them in between and watch carefully last 5-10 min to not get burned. You can spray olive oil once when you turn them.
  5. Now your Spicy French Fries are ready to eat!!. You can combine these fries with our Burger/Sandwich Recipe.
